While images are my passion, photography is my way of experiencing the world and seeking the answers. It’s a never-ending process of learning, a pretext to meet others and find myself in life changing situations.
It is to know the truth about myself.
I was born in Poland in 1978. Ever since I can remember I have been restless, passionate and pretty much interested in everything. Growing up, I wanted to be a cartoonist, rally driver, death metal musician, karate master, mathematician, architect, snowboarder, diver and professional mountain biker.
Carrying so many interests and passions in one body, with no clue what exactly I want to do in my life, I decided to study ‘business’, as it would give me the opportunity to earn money and keep on trying. So I studied Marketing and Strategic Management and finally gained an MBA degree. I took me several years in the corporate world to realize my dissatisfaction with the reality I had put myself in.
I quit my job and left for Tokyo where I took up photography and studies on environmental changes at the United Nations University. Next I moved to Barcelona to continue my photographic self-development. There I graduated in photojournalism at the GrisArt Escola in 2008.
Since then I have traveled extensively to dozens of destinations around the world, focusing my lens on social injustice, the moral condition of humanity and religion.
Currently I work simultaneously on several long term projects. One of them is “I Love my Sudder Street”, featured on this website.
I live in Krakow, my home city.
